Straight answers
Everything contractors ask before they sign up. If yours isn't here, email us and we'll answer it.
Getting started
How long does setup take?
About twenty minutes. Most of that is connecting your CRM and pointing us at your website. After that it runs on its own, and you spend a few minutes a week approving things if you want to.
What do you need from me to start?
Login access to your CRM, the address of your website, and access to your Google Business Profile. That is the whole list.
What happens on day one?
We pull your finished jobs, build your first service and city pages, and show you the map before anything goes live. Nothing publishes until you have seen it.
Your CRM
Which CRMs do you work with?
The common ones for home service: ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, Jobber, JobNimbus, AccuLynx, Service Fusion, Workiz, and others. If yours is not on the list, tell us what you run and we will be straight with you about it.
What if I don't use a CRM at all?
Your crews add the job from their phone — a few photos, the service, done. Location comes from the photo itself at the moment it is taken. No GPS tracking, nothing running in the background.
Do you write anything back into my CRM?
No. We read finished jobs out of it. We never change your records.
Jobs and photos
Where do the job photos come from?
The photos your techs already take on the job, pulled straight from the job record. If you add jobs from the phone app, the photos come from there instead.
How many photos does a job need?
One is enough. Three or four is better, because the write-up has more to work from and the page looks like real work instead of a stock shot.
Do all photos get published?
No. We pick the ones that show the work clearly and skip the blurry, dark and duplicate shots. You can swap or remove any of them.
What happens to the jobs I've already done?
We pull the finished jobs your CRM still has and build pages from them, so your site does not start empty. Older jobs with no usable photos get skipped.
What if a photo shows something I don't want online?
Remove it and the page rebuilds without it. You can also block a whole job from publishing.
Your website
Does this live on my domain?
Yes. The service pages, the city pages and the job map all sit on your own domain, not on ours.
My website was built by someone else. Is that a problem?
Usually not. Tell us what it is built on when we talk and we will be straight with you about what we can do on it. Some platforms let us do more than others, and we would rather say so up front than after you have paid.
What pages get created?
A page for each service you offer, a page for each city or area you work in, and a job map that fills in as work comes in. Each finished job lands on the pages it belongs to.
Does this help my SEO?
It helps the part of SEO that is hardest to fake: real pages about real work, in the areas you actually serve, growing every week. We do not promise rankings, because nobody can.
Will this slow my site down?
No. Pages are plain and light, images are lazy loaded, and the map only loads when someone scrolls to it.
Asking for reviews
How does the review request go out?
A text the day after the job, with your photos attached so the customer remembers which visit it was. Your tech can also show a QR code at handoff.
Does it filter out unhappy customers?
No, and we are deliberate about it. Every customer who gets a request can reach your public review page. Filtering people by how happy they seem breaks Google's rules and gets profiles suspended. What we do instead is get unhappy replies in front of you fast, so you can fix it before they post.
Where do reviews get sent?
Google and Facebook.
How do reviews get matched to jobs?
Tracked links match exactly. Anything that comes in without one gets matched on timing and service and shown to you before it is used.
Replying to reviews
Who writes the replies?
A draft is written for you from the job details, in your voice. You send it, edit it, or ignore it.
Do replies send themselves?
Five-star replies can, if you turn that on. Anything under four stars always waits for you.
Can I set the tone?
Yes. Pick how formal you want to sound and give us a couple of phrases you always use, and drafts follow it.
Privacy
Does my customer's address end up public?
Never. Pins sit at neighbourhood level, offset by a fixed amount that does not change between page loads, so nobody can compare two visits and work backwards to a house. Street addresses do not appear in posts, on pages, or in the map widget.
Do customer names show up anywhere?
Only the first name and last initial that come with a review, the same way they already appear on Google. Nothing else.
Does the crew app track where my techs are?
No. Location comes from the job record or the photo at the moment it is taken. There is nothing running in the background on anyone's phone.
Social posting
Where do posts go?
Google Business Profile, Facebook and Instagram.
How often does it post?
As often as you set. You pick a weekly limit and it never goes over it, no matter how many jobs come in.
Do I have to approve every post?
No. You can approve each one, approve a week at a time, or let it run and check in when you feel like it.
Mobile apps
Is there an app for my crews?
Yes, and it does one thing: add the job. Photos, service, done. It takes about thirty seconds.
Do my techs need to learn anything?
If you run a CRM, they change nothing at all. If you use the phone app, it is one screen.
Team
How many people can use it?
Everyone on your team. We do not charge per seat.
Can I control who approves what?
Yes. Office staff can approve posts and replies while crews only add jobs.
Pricing
What does it cost?
One flat monthly fee, no contract. Founding customers lock half price for their first year and keep that rate as long as they stay — ten slots, first come.
What is included in the fee?
The write-ups, the pages, the map, review requests, reply drafts and social posting. There are no per-job or per-page charges.
How does billing work?
Monthly, by card. Cancel whenever you like and the pages we built stay on your site.
Security
How is my CRM access stored?
Encrypted, and scoped to reading finished jobs. We never take more access than the job needs.
Who can see my data?
You and the people you invite. We do not sell it, share it, or use one company's jobs to write another company's pages.
What happens to my data if I leave?
Tell us and we delete it. The pages already published to your own site are yours to keep.
Comparing us
How is this different from what I'm paying for now?
Most review tools stop at asking for the review. Most marketing agencies write pages by hand, once, and then bill you monthly to keep doing it. This turns every finished job into a description, a pin, a page and a post without anyone typing.
Do I still need an SEO agency?
That is your call. What this does is keep your service and city pages growing with real work, which is the part agencies charge the most for and deliver the slowest.
Can I use this alongside my current review tool?
You can, but you will be asking the same customers twice. Most people turn the old one off.
